Your first visit may be as short as 30 minutes or as long as two hours, depending on the complexity of your problem or those of other patients seen that day. The doctor will do a thorough examination and discuss your eye conditions in detail. Your eyes may need to be dilated, so please bring a pair of sunglasses or someone who can drive you home.
- A list of all your medication, including eye drops.
- Current prescription eye glasses and contact lenses.
- Your current insurance cards.
- A referral from insurance, if necessary.
- Your sunglasses for after your exam.
Patients are often referred to us by other doctors for consultation or treatment. We will keep your doctor informed about your condition and progress and advise you when to return to your doctor's care.
